Sowing & growing

Sow inside March-April. Press seeds into moist seed compost. Ideal temperature for germination is 16-18°C. Pot up seedlings into individual containers when large enough to handle and plant outside when risk of frost has passed. Sow directly outside April-May. Keep soil moist at all times and space the seedlings to 10cm apart.

Aftercare

Remove any flowerheads as they appear and cut back to 5 cm to let the plant regenerate
